Caminha

Ontem participei num workshop de carpintaria em Lisboa, orientado por Marco Ginoulhiac e com a ajuda de Gustavo Fernandes. Foram cerca de 3h e qualquer coisa bem passadas, a escolher, cortar e montar a caminha de Princesa da Ervilha que aqui podem ver! Tirando os 40º C que se fizeram sentir, e o facto de todos estarmos a suar em bica, correu tudo muito bem.

Este era um projecto que há já muito tempo que queria concretizar... ainda preciso de afinar umas medidas e modos de construir, para ficar mais delicadinha e bonita, mas adoraria fazer umas quantas caminhas para ver se têm saída. Agora preciso de fazer colchões!

Yesterday I attended a carpentry workshop in Lisbon, under the guidance of Marco Ginoulhiac and with the help and assistance of Gustavo Fernandes. It took around 3h00 between choosing wood, cuting it and putting the whole thing together but it ended up on this little Bed for a Princess and its Pea! It all went well, except for the 40ºC (nearly 104ºF) that made all of us sweat like it was raining.

This is a project I've been looking forward to acomplish... I still need to work out my skills and measurements in order to make lighter and thiner delicate beds, but I'd sure love to make a few and see if they sell. Now I need to take care of the mattrasses!
