No dia 23 deste mês fiz 32!
Saltei da cama às 8h e resolvi fazer um bolo de chocolate para levar comigo para o atelier

On the 23rd of April I turned 32!
I jumped out of the bed at 8h00 am and made myself a cake to take to my studio

A caminho do bus vi bem de perto uma das andorinhas lindíssimas que pululam nos meus subúrbios. Cantam muito e têm um refrão matraqueado que deixa os meus gatos doidos...

On my way to the bus I saw closely one of the many swallows that fly around my neighborhood. They sing a lot and have this delicious drum-roll kind of refrain that make my cats nuts...

Apanhei do chão uma borboleta linda, mas bastante esfrangalhada...

I picked from the flour a beautiful, yet damaged, dead butterfly...

...já no bus vi um rapaz todo nu a assomar à varanda para tirar da corda uma toalha de banho!

...while on the bus I saw a naked young man peeking at the balcony to pick a shower towel!

Almocei e jantei na Pizzaria Casanova!

I had lunch and dinner at Casanova Pizzeria!

A borboleta é muito bonita embora já esteja um pouco seca e tenha um cheiro estranho. Devia ser brutal quando era viva! O corpo é vermelho e alaranjado. Espero poder desenha-la antes de ela se desfazer...

The butterfly is beautiful although is a bit dried out and with a funky smell. It should be suberb when it was alive, with a red and orange body! I hope to make a drawing of it before it falls appart...
